Habitat For Humanity North Central Georgia

2014 Build

We are excited to announce that Access Management Group has partnered up with Habitat for Humanity of North Central Georgia and will be sponsoring a build in mid-October!

The build-site is located fairly close to our office – within the Village at Park Creek neighborhood in Woodstock off of 140. We will be building the home for the Fregene family, who immigrated to the US in 2010 from Nigeria. Boyo Fregene, the mother, has 2 young boys (ages 2 & 4). Her fiancé (and the father of her 2 sons) is still in Nigeria but plans to immigrate here in the future.

Boyo’s mother and 5 out of her 7 siblings also immigrated to the US. Boyo attended college in Nigera and received her degree in Business Administration. She now works in the home healthcare field as a caregiver and loves working and serving others. Boyo and her boys currently live in a small apartment with her mother.

Boyo and the boys share 1 bedroom and bathroom. She is looking forward to having a Habitat home where the children can grow and have life-long friends!

We are excited for the opportunity and will post pictures after the build.

2013 BuildOur 2012 Build

We asked our employees to come up with a list of local charities that they were interested in supporting - and Habitat was an overwhelming favorite. As a result, Access Management Group was proud to be a Full Team-Build Sponsor in 2012. We sponsored 2 Build days and sent a team of 20 volunteers to the house each weekend. Some of the following tasks were performed by Access Management volunteers – Shingling the roof, installing insulation in the walls and ceiling, applying siding and caulking, and painting the exterior & interior of the house. We also were so happy to attend the home dedication once the Build was complete! Other sponsors included: Wells Fargo, Buckhead Rotary, Private Bank of Buckhead, BNY Mellon, Aquilex, Smith & Howard, NYPRO & The Coca-Cola Syrup Company, North Highland Company and Haverty’s Furniture.

Access Management HouseOur House

Access Management Group participated in the building of a home for Ms. Melaney Nelloms and her family. The house is located out I-20 West, in the Westview neighborhood of Atlanta. Ms. Nelloms has been a bus driver with Marta for the past five years and she previously drove school buses for the Atlanta school system. She was so excited to finally have her own space and her own yard, which she believes will give her a sense of independence and provide a good direction for her life and her family. She was so grateful for everyone’s help and support and we were so happy to be able to be a part of this awesome project!
